Mountain Gorilla Refuge operates through 10 core program areas, each designed to address critical threats facing gorillas.
Our core program focuses on direct protection of gorilla populations through daily monitoring, population censuses, and habitat patrols. We work with park authorities and local communities to ensure gorillas are safe from poaching and human disturbance.
